We are looking to take on a trainee who will work towards the qualifications of Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney. Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and (or be on track for) a 1st class undergraduate degree in biochemistry or a related life sciences discipline.
You will interact with all the firm’s fee earners, not just one partner or associate. You will be a valued team member from the word go, and have real responsibility early on. We will tailor your training as you progress, and send you on any external courses that you need.
Our growing client roster is dominated by global players: we work directly with consumer goods corporations, engineering companies, diagnostic test and research equipment manufacturers, leading biotech and pharmaceutical companies, and investment funds.
Our EPO opposition practice and European litigation support involve recent advances in the fields of genome editing, DNA amplification, DNA sequencing, and treatments using the world’s largest selling pharmaceutical.
If you are interested in joining a rapidly growing firm that can truly be called modern, dynamic and progressive, please get in touch.
Additional benefits include a pension scheme, discretionary bonus, private health insurance, and 25 days annual holiday.
