Responsibilities:
- Patent Prosecution: Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications for electronic inventions, ensuring they meet the legal requirements and are aligned with the client’s business goals.
- Patent Portfolio Management: Manage and strategize clients’ patent portfolios, including conducting patent searches, analysing competitors’ patents, and advising on the acquisition or disposal of patents.
- Client Consultation: Provide legal counsel to clients regarding patent-related matters, including infringement analysis, freedom-to-operate opinions, and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
- Infringement and Invalidity Analysis: Conduct infringement and invalidity analyses, prepare opinions, and assist in litigation matters related to electronic patents.
- BD: Actively get involved in Business Development.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years PQE
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of electronics, semiconductor technology, telecommunications, and related fields, with the ability to understand complex technical concepts.
- Teamwork: Collaborative and able to work effectively in a team of attorneys and support staff.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client portfolios and meet deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for preparing accurate patent applications and legal documents.
