Our Patent Career Programme offers you the chance to be involved in innovative, exciting inventions outside of the Lab, whilst studying towards your exams to become a qualified UK and European patent attorney. We are recruiting for places on our Chemistry training programme to start in October 2024 – where we will support, mentor and develop you into a world class patent attorney working on some of the most exciting new products and ideas from across the globe. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to start your career within our Chemistry team which is comprised of over 25 trainees and qualified attorneys. Our team is led by dedicated, market-leading experts who can offer you unparalleled training, quality of work, direct exposure to client matters, business development initiatives and the support to ensure you are developing in your career.

We are looking for candidates with a strong academic record and a graduate or postgraduate degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. To meet the diverse requirements of our clients we are particularly interested in candidates with a strong organic chemistry background, as well as in candidates with a strong chemical engineering or process chemistry background. We welcome applicants from new graduates or those looking for an exciting career change.

The deadline for receiving applications will be 5pm on Monday 6th November. The application process will include a zoom interview and attendance at an assessment center, those that are successful will commence their Trainee positions in October 2024.
