Deadline

01 May 2024

Are you looking to apply your knowledge of science and engineering to the protection and commercialisation of cutting-edge technologies, while working alongside world leading clients who are at the forefront of innovation? If so, have you considered a career as a patent attorney which will give you the chance to immerse yourself in a diverse range of technology and simultaneously grapple with fascinating legal challenges?

Our Patent Career Programme offers you the chance to be involved in innovative, exciting inventions outside of the Lab, whilst studying towards your exams to become a qualified UK and European patent attorney. Here at Kilburn & Strode we offer a quality structured training programme and a dedicated people manager to help guide you through your traineeship. No two days are ever the same, but throughout the course of your training you will master the fundamentals of patent law, learn how to draft patent applications, take part in opinion and opposition work and interact with clients.

Kilburn & Strode is a top tier firm of European patent and trade mark attorneys with offices in London, The Netherlands and San Francisco. We hire the best people and we do excellent work for the world’s finest organisations which you can be part of.

We know that our reputation as a firm is based entirely on the quality of the individuals who work here. That’s why we’ve always been uncompromising in seeking out people who are not only at the top of their game, but who also share our enthusiasm and outlook. Not only that, we are committed to diversity not because it’s “good for business” or because it’s the “right thing to do”. We’re committed because it makes our firm a superb place to work. Whatever your background, you’re welcome here because we love the creativity that difference brings.

Our Netherlands office (now 15 people) is growing and we have a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to join us as a Trainee Patent Attorney in either our Eindhoven or Rotterdam office. Our international Tech team includes over 60 individuals and we advise some very high-profile clients across all fields of technology.
