Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Part Qualified Engineering Patent Attorney to join our clients’ talented team. In this role, you will work closely with inventors and clients to secure and enforce patent protection for their electronic and electrical innovations. While a background in Electronics is preferred, candidates with strong engineering knowledge in related fields will also be considered.

Key aspects of the role:

  • Direct client-facing contact
  • Collaborating with founders, SMEs, and in-house departments of large corporations
  • Drafting patent applications
  • Prosecution and management of global patent portfolios
  • Conducting due diligence
  • Handling EPO (European Patent Office) oppositions and appeals

Qualifications:

  • Excellent academics
  • Part-qualified/ newly qualified as a Patent Attorney.
  • Strong understanding of patent law and intellectual property.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
