Our client, a prestigious and leading Intellectual Property (IP) firm, is seeking a dedicated IP Support Specialist to join its esteemed Trade Marks team. This role is integral to the ongoing success of the firm and offers a unique chance to be part of a high-calibre environment where excellence is the standard.

As an IP Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting the day-to-day operations of the Trade Marks team. Your primary responsibilities will include meticulous diary management and providing comprehensive support to ensure the smooth functioning of the team. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and handle multiple tasks with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage and coordinate diaries for the Trade Marks team, scheduling meetings, appointments, and deadlines
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing documents, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure timely and effective communication.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of trade mark applications and other related documents
  • Watch notices – retrieving these from the corsearch platform and sending them to the client

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in diary management and administrative support, preferably within an IP or legal environment
  • Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating initiative and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Experience with trade mark processes and documentation is highly desirable
