An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join the trade mark team in our London office.

The role

We are looking for someone who is keen to develop their trade mark knowledge and experience and be involved in, amongst other things:

• Drafting correspondence with clients and overseas attorneys
• Drafting official responses and submissions particularly before the UKIPO and EUIPO
• Managing deadlines, opening new files
• Preparing and filing new applications and official forms particularly at the UKIPO and EUIPO
• Managing files
• Managing attorneys’ deadlines
• Preparing quotations
• Conducting research and searching
• Preparation of watch service reports
• Invoicing

About you

Working in a team environment, you will need to be accurate, a good communicator, display initiative, be able to prioritise your workload and have strong organisational skills. You will have a good understanding of the lifecycle of a trade mark and procedures including those before the UKIPO, EUIPO and WIPO.

CITMA Paralegal course is desirable but not essential.

Office

Our London office is based in the vibrant area of Holborn/Farringdon, with excellent public transport links along with a variety of bars and restaurants.

We operate a hybrid working system, with the successful candidate expected to work in the London office for a minimum of 3 days per week during their training.
