This programme was designed by intellectual property law and information law experts at the University alongside external intellectual property and information law experts. With this combined input, you will gain unique insights into the subject and will advance your understanding of the factors that influence it. The programme has been carefully coordinated to align with the competencies required for today’s international job market, and also offers the opportunity to study other existing LLM courses that fit well within the programme, such as: World Trade Organisation: GATT, European Economic Law, and International Commercial Arbitration.
On this version of the LLM, students are expected to complete a traditional 10 000 word dissertation. Many students wish to follow the dissertation route because they want to demonstrate a depth of knowledge in a particular field, or to launch their academic interest in a particular area. We also offer this LLM with Professional Skills, a practical, intensive course based on professional activity.
