London Museum

At the London Museum and the Museum of London Docklands, we connect people with the lived experience of London. People are the subject of our museum, as much as the city itself and our own exceptional staff are central to our success.

Every time a new skyscraper is built in London, or a new train line tunnelled, we discover more about Londoners’ lives throughout the ages. At our Archaeological Archive, we store a collection which includes artefacts from excavations as well as archaeologist’s records and plans for our archive.

As the people who make up the city change, so do we. The coming years will be an unprecedented time for us. We are undertaking the biggest project in the museum’s history: to build a new museum for London, in West Smithfield. There has never been a more exciting time to join the London Museum.

Like London, working here will provide you with the opportunity to come together with positive and professional people who have a wide range of skills, abilities, experiences and perspectives, all of which we celebrate.

Join the London Museum and your skills, abilities, experiences and perspectives will help us to achieve our vision to become ‘We Are London’.

Now based at the University of Essex Knowledge Gateway technology and innovation park, we are ideally placed to help businesses grow.

Who we are today

Our staff are based in our Colchester office with our London address offering a convenient meeting location for clients if required.

We work across a range of industries, and trainees will quickly learn to adapt their skills to different technologies, all aspects of IP and will aim to become qualified in both patents and trade marks.

At Sandersons we pride ourselves in developing strong partnerships with our clients, and in being knowledgeable and passionate about all aspects of intellectual property. Our highly pro-active service gives us the flexibility to tailor the way we work to meet each client’s individual needs.

Why Sandersons?

We are a well-established firm, with a young(ish), forward-thinking partnership. We actively encourage a healthy work/life balance, and achieve this through our informal atmosphere, varied and interesting client-base and beautiful location.

We are a small, friendly firm with most of our staff members staying with us for many years. As a small firm, our trainees are very quickly involved in all aspects of the process from initial client meetings to assisting partners with complex litigation.

Client cases are assigned to a team of professional staff under the overall supervision of one of our highly qualified and experienced Partners, supported by Associates, Technical Assistants and administrative staff as required; our clients benefit from effectively having us as part of their team.

We are happy to receive applications from enthusiastic graduates with a minimum of 2.1 degree in an appropriate technical discipline to train as a patent attorney. We are particularly interested in those with backgrounds in engineering, biotechnology and electronics.

Yusarn Audrey

Yusarn Audrey is a pioneer IP strategy and law firm in Singapore.

In 1999, when Yusarn Audrey first started, very few people in Singapore had ever heard of an IP specialist law firm. We were among the first law firms set up to serve clients in this specialised field.

In fact, we set out to do more than that, we wanted to be a law firm that created value for our clients. At that time, we had a vision of the future of business and realised that the most successful companies and organisations will be those who harness their intellectual assets, those intangible qualities that make them uniquely powerful in the marketplace and the community, and use them to achieve their mission. We saw that our role as IP professionals gave us a unique opportunity to add value: to help our clients use IP strategically for their business and mission. The development of IP in Singapore and around the world and the transformation of Singapore into a regional and global IP hub since our inception has confirmed our foresight.

From the beginning, we organised our firm and our services around this central idea: that Intellectual Property is a powerful business asset and must be managed strategically. Everything that we did for our clients must help them create, protect and harness this valuable resource – IP. Where other law firms continued to compartmentalise their services into different departments, we integrated our teams. At Yusarn Audrey, IP lawyers work with patent agents, corporate lawyers and litigation lawyers to ensure a seamless delivery of IP and legal services around the single objective – creating, protecting and realising value from our clients’ IP assets.

In addition to this, we have developed new IP strategic advisory services as tools to ensure that our clients’ IP activities support and enhance their business strategies and objectives. By helping them to begin managing their IP in alignment with their business and mission, our clients have changed the way they look at IP. No longer just an expense, they now see IP as an asset and an investment for the future growth of their organisations.

Today, Yusarn Audrey is one of the top IP law firms in Singapore. We have been consulted by companies, research institutions, universities, statutory boards, and government agencies both in Singapore and in other parts of Asia, and have helped them create new possibilities using their intellectual assets.

This is what we live for in Yusarn Audrey, and what makes us excited and passionate about our work: igniting possibilities for our clients using IP.

FRKelly

At FRKelly we offer a wide range of services relating to patents, trademarks, designs, copyright, and other intellectual property matters. But really, we offer a lot more than that because our passion about our work is matched only by yours.

An illustration of this is the fact that during the WWII years it was often extremely difficult and sometimes even impossible to obtain renewal instructions from abroad. In spite of this FRKelly clients were very pleasantly surprised to learn that their Trade Mark portfolios were still intact after the war because renewal fees had been paid despite the absence of instructions.

This, in essence, is the standard and quality of service that FRKelly still stands for and aspires to today. Our commitment and dedication to each and every client is our hallmark and guarantee.

Why FRKelly?

With teams based in Dublin, Cork and Belfast, we offer a personalised, client-focused approach to provide practical and effective legal advice, tailored to the needs of individual businesses. As a leading specialist in intellectual property law, we work with both local and international clients. From SMEs and start-ups to world-class institutions, corporate clients, academic and research institutes and high net worth individuals, we provide all of them with a comprehensive range of patent, trade mark, design and copyright services.

While our reputation for knowledge and integrity has evolved over 90 years, we also believe in being accessible and personable, delivering exceptional levels of service.

We are globally recognised patent and trade mark attorneys representing the European intellectual property interests of a number of Top 50 US corporations and the worldwide intellectual property interests of many large multi-national companies.

We provide a cost effective, specialised counsel and undertake the preparation, registration, and prosecution of applications for patents, trade marks and other forms of registered IP.

And as a partner-led firm we love nothing more than to develop long term relationships with our clients by attaining a rigorous understanding of their business needs, so large or small, we can guarantee that every client receives an attentive and responsive service.

Our culture

We promote a friendly and supportive environment, with numerous whole firm activities throughout the year. We understand the importance of a good work/life balance, and our out-of-town location close to beautiful countryside and coast allows us to achieve this, while still being within easy travel distance to London and Cambridge. We support hybrid and remote working, but also encourage regular time in the office to build on the strengths of working in a close team.

We offer several benefits to promote wellbeing, including yoga classes, cycle to work scheme, and gym membership schemes. The firm holds regular events to support the local community and local charities, including an annual table tennis charity event.

Opportunities

Our patent and trade mark trainees have direct client contact from an early stage. With a large proportion of direct client work, the firm provides opportunities to meet clients, draft applications and gain an understanding of IP portfolios and strategy from day one.

Trainees are fully supported through courses and examinations to achieve UK and European qualification. Trainees are also encouraged to participate in marketing and business development, helping to build the firm’s important client relationships.

We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds and are proud signatories of the IP Inclusive Charter, reflecting our commitment to fostering equality, diversity and inclusion within the intellectual property profession.
