Venner Shipley LLP is a leading firm of European and UK Patent, Trade Mark and Design attorneys, with offices in London, Cambridge, Guildford, Tunbridge Wells, Manchester and Munich.

We have an opportunity for a Trade Mark Attorney with 1 to 4 years PQE to join our busy team. There is flexibility over office base which can be London, Tunbridge Wells, Guildford or Cambridge. We also offer hybrid working arrangements. You will be assisting senior trade mark attorneys providing a service to clients on trade mark matters. Experience in designs, plant variety rights or copyright is desirable but not essential.

You must have a 2.1 or above from a good University in any academic discipline and be CITMA qualified. You must have strong written and analytical skills, good lateral thinking and be well organised. You must also be commercial and be comfortable quickly assimilating new information as our clients work in many different industry sectors.  Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as we are a full-service firm offering a high level of interaction for clients with attorneys; this role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients. As such, we are looking for an aptitude for and desire to develop your client relationship and business development skills, supported by the senior trade mark attorneys and our in-house MBD team.
