Who we are looking for

We are seeking a trainee who will work under the supervision of the Partners and Associates in the firm’s Trade Mark team towards qualification as a Trade Mark Attorney. You will be working to advise clients on the registration, use and exploitation of trade marks to ensure successful protection of the identity and integrity of their brands. The successful candidate will work on a variety of different cases in order to gain a wide range of experience of different types of work and clients. The role is based in our central Birmingham office which has recently undergone expansion and the candidate chosen will form a key part of the trade mark department.

Requirements

The work is challenging. It demands excellent communication skills both in writing and orally, great attention to detail and commercial and cultural awareness. Candidates must have excellent academics and a good 2.1 degree from a top University. We welcome all degree disciplines, for example Law, Economics, English or related degree.  We welcome applications from graduates or post-graduates.
