We’re looking for inquiring and talented people to join our Life Sciences & Chemistry group. Work with some of the sharpest minds on the planet in an environment where you can develop and grow.

The ideal candidate will have a strong first degree in a Life Sciences or Chemistry discipline and excellent verbal and written communication skills. But most importantly a genuine passion for technology that goes well beyond the merely academic.

Our Life Sciences & Chemistry group is one of the largest in Europe, with a depth of expertise and experience across the chemical, biochemical and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in academic research.

We work with a range of clients all over the world – from entrepreneurs, biotechnology and genetic research companies, pharmaceutical businesses and horticulturalists developing new plant varieties to medical device companies, veterinary supply organisations and chemical companies working in areas as diverse as fuel cells, liquid crystals and cosmetics. We also act for NHS Trusts, research departments and technology transfer companies of many British universities and research institutes.

Qualification as a Chartered UK & European Patent Attorney involves passing several sets of examinations. Of course, we will support you every step of the way. You’ll be paid to attend courses and lectures organised by the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys. There is also our own in-house tutorial programme with up to 32 tutorials each year.

If you think you’ve got the skills we’re looking for, check out our website for more information and how to apply.
