We are one of Europe’s top intellectual property firms, in the business of protecting original ideas and making them work harder for our clients.  At the same time we consider ourselves one of the best places to work in patents and trademarks and have an excellent reputation for training our new colleagues.

We also aim to keep our employees happy.  As part of this, we run a friendly and supportive office with a professional and informal atmosphere.  We offer what we believe is one of the best benefits packages in the business, which includes flexi-time working, contributory pension scheme, private medical cover and a host of other flexible benefits.

Our clients are multi-national corporations, SMEs and University Spin-Outs at the cutting edge of technology.  They chose us because we work side by side with them to make the complex world of intellectual property simple – straight talking advice that works in the real world.  Our clients rate us highly and this is reflected in our standing in all four leading industry directories.

You have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to reason clearly and logically orally and in writing.  Thinking about the next step, you want a rewarding career that will keep you interested, working with and learning from leading individuals in the field, and you are committed to further study for professional exams.  You like working as part of a team but can also work on your own and take responsibility for what you do.

An undergraduate or post-graduate student, or a graduate working in technology, you have or expect to get a good degree in a Life Sciences-related subject, preferably immunology, microbiology or genetics, as well as a solid understanding of general molecular biology and biotechnology.  You have a flexible approach which means that you are comfortable with all technologies across the Life Sciences. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.  Although not essential, some proficiency in French, German, Chinese or Japanese is desirable.

Please send your completed application form with a covering letter by the closing date of 26 June 2015.  Selected candidates will be invited for interviews in July 2015. Preferably, we would like you to be free to start your employment in September/October 2015.
