We have an excellent record in training graduates to qualify as patent attorneys through learning at work and on our internal training scheme. We also send trainees to the Certificate course at Queen Mary College and to seminars in Strasbourg.
Our trainees rotate between working for different partners in two or three of our offices to expose them to work in different subject areas and for a range of clients.
Newly qualified attorneys often go on extended working visits to other countries, including the USA, Japan and China, to continue their professional development.
We are keen to hear from motivated and entrepreneurial candidates with the skills needed to qualify as patent attorney. Details of how to apply are found by the link below.
We are looking for patent trainees with degrees or PhDs in electronics, engineering, physics, chemistry, biochemistry or biological sciences. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants able to handle electronics work, normally as a result of a background in physics, electronics or electrical engineering.
