We are seeking a graduate trainee for our Manchester office, to work towards the qualifications of Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney. Besides patents there will be opportunities to become involved in other aspects of IP.

Full on the job training and examination support is provided, but a significant level of private study is required to gain the qualifications. It usually takes at least four years for new trainees to attain full qualification.

Candidates should have, or be predicted to obtain, a good (2:1 or higher) honours degree in Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. In addition to a relevant science degree, an excellent and proven facility with written English is essential.

We are looking for someone to start with us between September and October 2017.
