Our Trainee Patent Attorneys work in one of our two specialist departments, IT & Engineering or Life Sciences, where they gain experience from working closely with a number of Partners and attorneys.
Our aim is to provide trainees with broad-ranging experience by ensuring they work with a variety of businesses requiring different patent services and service levels. Trainees are provided with a range of in-house and external lectures, seminars and tutorials to compliment private study for the professional qualifications and, of course, close support, coaching and mentoring to provide the best start possible to what we hope will be a long and successful career in intellectual property
In addition to high academic achievement and a degree in chemistry, electrical/electronic engineering, or physics, candidates should have the ability to articulate their ideas accurately and concisely both in the written and spoken word.
