Job Description
We have an exciting opportunities for high calibre graduate with a degree in physics/electronics/software/chemistry or a related subject (2:1 or above).
You will be trained to qualify as a patent attorney while working in the tech group or the chemistry group. You will be trained to the highest professional standards.
Person Requirements
You should be able to communicate effectively both on paper and in person. For the role within the tech group, some knowledge and experience of computing, electronics, software or telecommunications would be advantageous. For the role within the chemistry group, a broad scientific background and some knowledge and experience of computing would be advantageous.
You should be conscientious and capable of working to deadlines. You will also need to be organised.
A large number of professional exams are required to become a patent attorney, so a high level of commitment is required.
Qualification Requirements
A degree in physics/electronics/software/chemistry or a related subject (2:1 or above).
A consistently strong academic performance in science, maths and English language.
A PhD or industrial experience, while not required, would be an advantage.
Other Details
Permanent, full-time position after probationary period.
