Our client, a stellar IP practice has capacity to welcome a proactive and motivated Trade Mark Administrator to join their dynamic team.

Based in their Birmingham office, you will seamlessly support fee earners across a diverse portfolio of UK, EU and international trade mark matters. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail working across trade mark and brand protection matters.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll play a key role in keeping cases moving efficiently and ensuring deadlines are met across a varied trade mark portfolio. Responsibilities will include:

• Managing trade mark deadlines, diaries and correspondence
• Preparing and filing UK, EU and international trade mark applications
• Monitoring official actions and supporting prosecution work
• Acting as a key contact for clients and overseas attorneys
• Managing fee earner inboxes and calendars
• Drafting standard and non-standard correspondence
• Supporting opposition, revocation and invalidity actions
• Conducting trade mark database searches and research
• Liaising with Records, Renewals and Accounts teams
• Helping maintain accurate records and billing information

About You

• Experience in trade mark administration or IP support
• Knowledge of UKIPO, EUIPO and WIPO procedures
• Experience using Inprotech and Worksite
• A degree and/or CITMA qualification (or studying towards it)
• Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail
• Able to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines
• Confident communicating with clients and colleagues
• Proactive, reliable and solutions-focused
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
