The team and the role

We have an internationally renowned Trade Marks team, and were recently awarded the UK Trademark Prosecution Firm of the Year at the WTR Global IP Awards. We are ranked in the top tier in the legal directories Legal 500, Chambers, MIP and WTR.

We have a full team of 30 people in our Trade Marks team across our London and Netherlands offices. We collaborate closely with our team in the Netherlands which enables us to provide a seamless European service to clients, both within the region and worldwide.

We have a brilliant chance for an ambitious Senior Associate to join our London team. This is a unique opportunity to join us where you will be supported in developing and growing your own practice with clear career progression. In this role you will be given the opportunity to:

  • Take the lead on the full spectrum of TM matters, working for a variety of clients
  • Supervise and mentor more junior members of the team
  • Drive client and BD activity

Essential knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Have several years post qualified trade mark attorney experience
  • Experience leading on a full range of trade mark matters including: opposition work, trade mark clearance, filing and prosecution, dispute resolution, portfolio management, anti-counterfeiting and enforcement
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Experience managing and developing more junior members of the team
  • Be client focussed and have proven relationship building ability
  • Confident presenting both to external clients as well as internally
