The Keltie engineering team is looking for a dynamic and talented individual to join our thriving practice. At Keltie we pride ourselves on the care we take of both our clients and colleagues. Our success has been built on a simple insight: that our clients are best served by talented people who love what they do and where they work. We are seeking a new member to join our team as a part-qualified patent attorney, although recently qualified attorneys would also be considered. We are looking for someone with energy and positivity, eager to support our existing clients and to assist our efforts for continued growth. In return, you will benefit from the support of a team, and firm as a whole, that wants you to succeed. The work at Keltie is exciting, challenging and varied with direct client-facing contact, working with founders and SMEs to in-house departments of large corporations, drafting applications, prosecution and management of global patent portfolios, due diligence and EPO oppositions and appeals.

An ideal candidate will have a good first degree in engineering, and although an electronical/electronic engineering background is currently preferred, we will also consider other engineering disciplines. Relevant industrial experience would be advantageous, as would be experience in drafting of patent applications, to help serve our large direct corporate client base.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, happy to engage with colleagues and clients, with the energy and enthusiasm to thrive in this challenging and rewarding role.

Salary: Competitive Market Salary.

Employee Benefits: Flexible working (2-3 days office based), Group Pension Plan, Private Healthcare Plan, Life Assurance, Group Income Protection, 25 days holidays plus paid bank holidays, season ticket loan, ride2work scheme, discretionary study support and study leave, social events.
