Wynne-Jones IP is a UK and European IP firm specialising in patents, trade marks, designs, IP strategy, IP licensing and enforcement, IP audits and IP renewals. We certainly know our stuff in IP rights and we’ve been helping businesses to protect business assets for nearly 60 years. Our portfolio spans an impressive mix of private individuals, multinationals, large technology-based companies, SMEs and Universities- locally, nationally and internationally.
Client care and team work are fundamental to our culture. Our commitment to our clients’ experience is such that we have a dedicated team of non-technicals assisting the attorneys to ensure that our clients are receiving a top notch service.
We act as European regional counsel for large corporate and multinational clients, operating via the AIPEX IP law firm which Wynne-Jones IP are founding members of and part-own. AIPEX has offices in all the major EU countries, totalling 200+ IP attorneys providing a seamless pan-European IP service whilst also being able to provide expert local knowledge within each country. It’s a win-win solution.
Unlike many UK and European firms, Wynne-Jones IP has not be affected by Brexit. Our attorneys can continue to represent clients at the EUIPO because of our unique relationship with AIPEX.
We are inviting an exceptional patent attorney (or finals standard candidate) with experience in areas such as chemistry, semiconductors, materials science, physics or chemical engineering to join our team of highly regarded expert patent attorneys, where you can enjoy working on an existing client portfolio and enjoy developing new opportunities.
Who will be the successful candidate? Someone who can hit the ground running to support and develop an existing client portfolio of mainly direct clients. You will be able to demonstrate good acumen to develop new opportunities to grow our existing client base. You will have an excellent professional reputation and possess interpersonal skills which allow you to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues with a collaborative approach. You will also demonstrate excellent attention to detail and be client focused. Above all you should be able to demonstrate technical excellence with a strong self-starting attitude towards your technical work. Ideally you will be ambitious with a commercial mindset to help support the strategic growth of the business. We believe this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a change of environment or ready to take the next step to further develop their career.
You will enjoy a broad technical spectrum with some interesting subject matter to include a good mix of drafting, prosecution and opposition work and will be working closely with well-established, high-profile clients.
