Following the enormous success of last years Work Placement programme we are running another programme this year.

Our Work Placement programme is specifically designed to enable a number of candidates from across all the key sectors to experience the work of patent and trade mark attorneys. Our key sectors are Electronics, Software, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Biotechnology and Trade Marks.

Applicants will be invited to one of our Leeds, Manchester or Halifax offices to spend a number of days undertaking some typical patent or trade mark work. You will experience the work of an attorney enabling a deeper understanding of the scope of the role, appreciate the necessary skills that are needed to become a fully qualified attorney and also have ‘real life’ exposure to working with qualified and experienced attorneys in their working environment.

We are continually looking to recruit talented, high calibre individuals who have an interest in, and enthusiasm for Intellectual Property. We do not restrict graduate recruitment to a specific time of year, we are completely flexible and can offer opportunities throughout the year for the right candidates.
