We are currently looking for an enthusiastic graduate with a degree in Physics, Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline to train as a patent attorney. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2.1 degree and evidence of a strong academic background. You will need good interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and excellent attention to detail.

As a trainee patent attorney you will be given full training and support in order to become qualified as a Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney. This comprises mentoring and supervision by the partners, in-house tutorials, external lectures and attending the Queen Mary Certificate Course in Intellectual Property Law.
