We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and ambitious trainee patent attorney to join our Life Sciences team in our Oxford office
Our Oxford team is part of a larger, firm-wide Life Sciences group. Our attorneys are graduate and post-graduate scientists with degrees and doctorates in all aspects of biochemistry and biology; many were involved in academic research before joining the firm. Across the group we have a wealth of expertise in areas such as, antibodies and immunology, cell signalling, diagnostic assays, enzymology, molecular and cellular biology, plant biology and vaccines.
Candidates must have a proven excellent academic record, with at least a first or upper second class undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Genetics or a related area. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have completed, or are nearing completion of their PhD research for this position.
As well as a strong academic record, candidates must also be well organised and be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
