We currently have two vacancies in our IT & Engineering division to start in September 2016.
The role
We are looking for individuals with degrees in physics, electronics or engineering to join our successful and expanding IT & Engineering division. An interest and knowledge of software will be an advantage for one of the roles.
You will be trained in drafting, filing and prosecution and as you progress, you will be given the opportunity to get more involved with contentious advice work.
Our aim is to provide trainees with broad-ranging experience by ensuring they work with a variety of businesses requiring different patent services and service levels.
Trainees are provided with a range of in-house and external lectures, seminars and tutorials to compliment private study for the professional qualifications. We also provide close support, coaching and mentoring to give the best start possible to what we hope will be a long and successful career in intellectual property.
The ability to offer clear and practical, no-nonsense professional advice to the Firm’s clients is of significant importance and the successful candidates will be expected to foster effective working relationships with the relevant personnel within client companies; therefore, effective communication skills are essential.
