We are currently recruiting for our Autumn 2017 trainee positions for graduates with backgrounds in Electronics, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.

We will be holding a Recruitment Day at our London office on Tuesday 25 October 2016, at which first interviews will take place.  You will need to submit an application to attend the Recruitment Day and this will need to be with us by Friday 23 September; second interviews for successful candidates will take place in December 2016.  Details of how to apply can be found on our website.

We expect our trainees to have a minimum of 360 UCAS points and a 2:1 degree. You will need to be articulate both in writing and verbally as you will need to communicate technical and legal concepts clearly and concisely. Other skills that are needed include analytical skills, commercial awareness and the ability and confidence to talk to clients and other professionals who may or may not share your technical background.

Graduate Recruitment at Venner Shipley

We typically employ 2-3 trainee patent attorneys per annum in our Electronics and Engineering department.  Positions are typically based in our London or Cambridge offices.
