Fantastic opportunity for a Biotech Attorney who is seeking a new challenge to move in-house!

Sought is a part or fully qualified Biotech Patent Attorney, based close to Oxford, with a strong background in biology/biotechnology to assist in all elements of managing a growing IP portfolio including drafting, filings and oppositions, invention harvesting, FTO analysis and trade secret identification. This Oxford based company has a wealth of work available and requires someone who is able to work within a team as well as autonomously with support from the wider Patent group comprised of a Paralegal and fully qualified Attorney.

Fundamentally, the business requires someone with a genuine interest in Biotech (those with knowledge/experience in protein biology are of particular interest) who will really immerse themselves in all aspects of this exciting company with ambitious growth plans. You will enjoy regular interaction with the scientists that you will work closely with and take an entrepreneurial, open-minded and commercial approach to IP protection as you make this role your own. This is a hugely collaborative role and those based in and around the Oxford areas will be required to spend some time each week in the office.

Those from part qualified (CPA/EPA) standard upwards will be considered for this role and full backing will be provided to the successful applicant in completing any further qualifications.
