Withers & Rogers are actively seeking a part-qualified or finals stage Patent Attorney to join our Life Sciences & Chemistry group in London. An ideal role for those who have just received their EQE results!
This is a great opportunity to join the Life Sciences & Chemistry group at an exciting time following the recent take-on of a major client, and to make the most of our first-rate support through the final stages of your training. This is a well-rounded role that will enable you to develop the diverse set of skills required of a successful patent attorney, involving a rewarding blend of:
- organic, inorganic and pharmaceutical chemistry;
- working directly with clients based in the USA, Japan and the UK on highly commercial subject-matter;
- European and International prosecution;
- EPO oppositions and appeals and opinion work.
About you
You will be an experienced and competent Attorney who is eager to make your mark and help shape the future of our firm. You will ideally be nearing full qualification as a UK or European Patent Attorney and you will have a strong academic background in Chemistry.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about innovation and can demonstrate the commercial awareness needed to support and guide our clients in bringing their technology through to market.
