The role:
Ilya Kazi, Jane Clark, Alan MacDougall and others in our London, York, Manchester and Cambridge teams are looking for part qualified physicists or electronics attorneys. The team is spread across our London, York, Manchester and Cambridge offices so we are open minded about where the successful candidate might be based. The work will involve a mix of drafting, prosecution and contentions matters for clients in the UK and overseas.
Paul Cozens and Dani Kramer are keen to see CVs of attorneys with a software/computer science or general engineering background – the team has a broad, mainly UK, client base and does a lot in the start-up space so can accommodate a range of different disciplines. Dani has a strong and growing Designs practice so we are also keen to see candidates with that expertise and interest.
The firm:
We are a firm of Patent and Trademark attorneys and offer a full range of services dedicated to maximising the value of our clients’ technologies, brands and designs. Our attorneys are qualified at both a UK and European level, with a legal expertise across a full spectrum of technical proficiencies.
With offices in London, Oxford, Cambridge, Manchester and York, we operate globally including working closely with a network of trusted foreign attorneys that we have built over many years. Our China operation is run through our dedicated Commercial Consultant based in Shenzhen.
In the last two years, we have experienced significant growth and have seen a 25% increase in both our partnership and the general size of the firm. We were the first legal tenant of the Shard when we moved our UK headquarters to the 15th floor.
