What we are looking for
The academic requirements are rigorous. Candidates should have an excellent track record of achievement at school and university with a minimum of a 2.1 honours degree in computer science. We are open to applications from candidates holding or studying for a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree.
Excellent spoken and written English are essential to the role, as are an eye for detail and the ability to explain complex matters clearly. We are also looking for candidates who are proactive, outgoing and friendly, team players and good listeners.

To apply
We usually encourage trainee patent attorneys to start with us in the autumn, in a recognised peer group, although we can be flexible about start dates. We encourage applications before the end of the calendar year for candidates who wish to start the following autumn. We will, however, consider applications from exceptional candidates at any time of the year.
