Secerna LLP is looking to recruit a trainee patent attorney to join the Life Sciences team in the firm’s York office.

Candidates must have a proven excellent academic record, with at least a first or upper second class undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Genetics or a related subject.  The position is ideally suited to a recent graduate or post-graduate and is immediately available.  Although the preference is to recruit someone immediately, the firm would be interested in receiving applications from candidates graduating in summer 2016.

As well as having a strong academic record, candidates must also be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to express themselves in a clear and logical manner, both orally and in writing.
