Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of trade mark cases, ensuring timely and accurate processing of applications, renewals and oppositions
- Preparing and filing trade mark applications, liaising with clients, attorneys and international associates
- Conducting trade mark searches and providing detailed reports to clients
- Handling correspondence with trade mark offices and clients, maintaining clear and organised records
- Providing expert advice and support on trade mark matters, including prosecution, maintenance and enforcement
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and procedures
Requirements:
- CITMA qualified with substantial experience in trade mark administration
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK, EU, and international trade mark laws and procedures
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Proficiency in IP management software and standard office applications
