As a Senior Trade Mark Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients’ trade mark portfolios. Working closely with legal professionals, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of trade mark administration, including filing applications, conducting searches, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, you will liaise with clients and authorities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Filing new Trade Mark applications directly at the UKIPO, EUIPO, WIPO and Irish IPO, as well as sending instructions to foreign associates worldwide
  • Checking processed communications and correspondence data to ensure successful docketing on the IPMS
  • Drafting and sending reports to clients and associates covering all aspects of the Trade Mark life cycle
  • Processing incoming communications, both official and from foreign Monitoring all incoming email traffic received by the Trade Mark department, saving and sending where appropriate
  • Management of fee earner diaries to ensure each diary is updated ahead of the following week
  • Due diligence for takeover projects and involvement in large filing projects

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience within the industry
  • CITMA qualification is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of trade mark laws and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in trade mark management software and databases.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
