We are seeking an experienced Patent Litigator to join a leading law firm’s London-based team. The firm has a long-standing reputation for excellence in patent litigation and is looking for a talented solicitor to help them continue to provide top-tier legal services their clients. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in patent litigation matters, as well as a deep understanding of the relevant laws and regulations in the UK courts. They will have a chance to work on both multijurisdictional and high court cases. The ideal candidate will also be able to work independently and collaboratively and will possess excellent communication and analytical skills. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of solicitors in an international firm who are committed to delivering exceptional results to all their clients on big ticket cases.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales
- 2 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in patent litigation
- Strong academic credentials, including a law degree from a top-tier institution (STEM degree would be advantageous)
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Knowledge of relevant patent laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patent litigation matters, including drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, and appearing in court
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to patent litigation matters
- Assist with client development and relationship management
- Work collaboratively with other solicitors, attorneys and staff to provide clients with high-quality legal services
- Stay up-to-date on relevant legal developments and best practices in patent litigation.
