An exceptional Legal 100 law firm, based in Northampton, is currently seeking a talented and driven Commercial/IT/IP Lawyer to join the esteemed team. Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will handle a broad spectrum of commercial, IT, IP and data protection matters, providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients
  • Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, licensing agreements, technology contracts, and intellectual property-related documents
  • They will collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives and provide tailored legal solutions to meet their needs
  • Conducting legal research, analysing complex legal issues, and providing strategic advice to clients will be integral to the role
  • Assist with business development initiatives and contribute to the growth and success of the firm’s commercial, IT, and IP practice

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with a strong academic background and significant experience in commercial, IT, and/or intellectual property law
  • 5 years’ PQE
  • Demonstrated expertise in drafting, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements
  • Experience in handling intellectual property matters, including trademark, copyright, and patents
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and commercial approach to problem-solving, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service
