Our client is currently looking for a motivated individual to take on the role of “Patent Litigation Associate” within their life sciences and tech team.

As a Patent Litigation Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality legal representation and strategic guidance to clients involved in complex patent disputes. Working closely with experienced attorneys, you will have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in all aspects of patent litigation, including case preparation, research, drafting legal documents, and courtroom advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting legal research and analysis related to patent infringement, validity, and enforcement issues
  • Assisting with the preparation of pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute litigation strategies
  • Participating in all stages of the litigation process, from case initiation to resolution
  • Providing timely and accurate advice to clients on legal matters related to intellectual property rights

Qualifications:

  • Qualified to practice in England & Wales
  • Newly qualified or up to 2 years of post-qualification experience in patent litigation
  • A STEM degree will be highly desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrated interest in intellectual property law, with a focus on life sciences and/or technology
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
