A prestigious London based client of ours is currently looking for a Hi-Tech Patent Attorney with experience levels ranging from part qualified (with three or more years’ experience at top tier IP firm) to 2 years PQE.   • Finals standard to 2 years PQE
  • Strong academic performance in technical subjects.

  • Familiarity with telecommunications, software, and computer-related inventions.
  • Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and apply them to patent prosecution.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to evaluate patentability and novelty.
  • Attention to detail in reviewing technical documents and patent applications.


  • Collaborating with inventors to understand their inventions and gather technical details.
  • Preparing patent applications, including drafting specifications and claims.
  • Assisting in prosecuting patent applications before relevant patent offices.
  • Analysing office actions and preparing responses to address examiner’s objections.
  • Conducting legal and technical research to support patent prosecution strategies.
  • Interacting with clients to understand their inventions, business goals, and IP needs.
  • Collaborating with inventors, senior patent attorneys, and cross-functional teams.
  • Assessing risks and potential challenges related to patent applications or enforcement.
