This firm is now looking to recruit a Patent Records & Formalities Specialist to join its well-established support team. This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of formalities processes across UK, EP, PCT and foreign patent matters.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive records and formalities support to the firm’s Patent Attorneys
  • Handling patent-related formalities including filing, prosecution, EP grant, and renewals
  • Managing deadlines and ensuring all documentation is processed accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining and updating case records using Inprotech
  • Liaising with internal teams and external bodies as required

You will have:

  • A strong background in patent records and formalities administration
  • Experience using Inprotech (essential)
  • The CIPA IPAC qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A proactive and professional approach, with a strong work ethic
