About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified German and European Patent Attorney to join a specialist team of attorneys and solicitors handling high-quality patent matters across multiple technologies. The role offers the chance to work autonomously while collaborating with a motivated, international team. You will have direct client contact and the opportunity to assume responsibility in a growing team, contributing to both client service and the development of the local office.
Key Responsibilities

Advising clients on patent protection strategies across electromechanical, electronics, physics, and IT technologies.

Managing both non-contentious and contentious matters, including drafting, filing, prosecution, and enforcement of patent rights.

Working closely with colleagues across offices to deliver seamless international client service.

Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, understanding their specific business needs.

Assuming responsibility within a growing team and contributing to the development of local office processes and strategy.

Collaborating with an international, multi-lingual team to deliver high-quality, technically complex solutions.

Participating in firm events and knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen team capabilities.
Requirements

Qualified German and European Patent Attorney with demonstrable experience in electromechanical, electronics, IT, or related fields.

Ability to advise clients on IP protection tailored to their individual business requirements.

Commercially astute with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Fluent in German and English; additional language skills are a plus.

Experience living, studying, or working in an English-speaking environment or other international setting.

Motivated, proactive team player with a hands-on approach and willingness to assume responsibility from day one.
