They are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified Trade mark Attorney to join their dynamic team in the picturesque South West of England. Key Responsibilities:
- Trademark Portfolio Management: Manage and oversee trademark portfolios for clients, including registration, renewal, and enforcement of trademarks.
- Trademark Prosecution: Prepare and file trademark applications, conduct trademark searches, and respond to office actions.
- Client Advisory: Provide strategic guidance to clients on trademark matters, including trademark clearance, branding, and protection strategies.
- Trademark Oppositions and Appeals: Handle trademark opposition proceedings and appeals, advocating for clients’ trademark rights.
- Trademark Disputes: Assist in the resolution of trademark disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Trademark Attorney with 1-4 years of PQE.
- Membership with the Chartered Institute of Trademark Attorneys (CITMA) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of trademark law, regulations, and procedures.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Client-focused with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
