We are recruiting for a business that’s a start-up but is made up of a team with IP expertise and an excellent commercial track record. People who know what they’re doing and have done it before with remarkable successes. They are looking for a key collaborator, someone who has considerable experience managing and operating impressive renewals portfolios. This would ideally be someone who has worked for multiple clients – law firms and corporate departments. You will be keen to innovate, work with your clients to improve processes – you rarely settle for the status quo.
Some of what you will be doing includes: being heavily involved in the design and development of technology tools to automate annuities and renewals management and operations for clients; developing smart ways of handling data verification; building tracking systems for portfolio management; and, being responsible for quality control, ensuring processes are efficient and transparent. Over time you’ll need a team to support you and the business will encourage you to get started on building one as soon as feasible.
The company works in English but is based in Brussels. They would like someone who will relocate but they do understand that this may take a little while so they’re happy to be flexible during a transition period. There is some room for manoeuvre in respect to your profile. You might currently work for an IP service provider, a law firm or a corporation. You will be used to working with a large portfolio and in particular developing strategies around data verification. A formal qualification is not essential by any means but extensive experience of IP formalities is, particularly where you have had an influence on changing processes and developing solutions.
