You’re a qualified CPA/EPA Patent Attorney with a proven career background within Biotechnology and Life Sciences technology, specifically looking for an in-house appointment. You may already be working within an in-house environment, or perhaps looking to make the career transition from private practice to industry.

A background in immunology and cell/protein engineering would be advantageous, as you’ll be joining a dedicated IP team who liaise with R&D stakeholders and C-Suite decision makers on a regular basis; this is an organisation where R&D and IP are inextricably entwined with trusted and commercially viable IP strategic relationships.

You’ll be reporting into the Head of IP, taking responsibility for drafting and prosecution for a burgeoning patent portfolio, regularly liaising with fellow IP professionals and scientists.  Exposure to contentious actions – FTOs, third party observations and Oppositions will also fall under your remit.

This growing biotech company has received a considerable multi-million-pound investment from a global pharmaceutical organisation, and clinical trials are scheduled for 2024, so you’ll be joining at a truly exiting time.  Their culture is centred around innovation and collaboration, where highly talented people from a rich variety of backgrounds will support your career aims and individual aims.
