Following the appointment of Monika Rai in 2020 as Head of EIP Life, we are continuing to develop our the practice and are seeking a finalist or recently qualified patent attorney.

The EIP Life practice has been built upon direct client work, with a client base that is active in technical areas such as antibody and vaccine technology, gene therapies, regenerative medicines, bioarrays, nutraceuticals, biopolymers, microbiological engineering, small molecule pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. With offices nationally, our business come to us by recommendation from existing clients and on the strength of our reputation.

We have a need to recruit a finalist or recently-qualified associate patent attorney with experience in Biotechnology and/or related life science topics. With a largely direct client base, it would be helpful if applicants have experience of client care. Equally, original drafting skills would be useful but neither this nor client exposure are essential to success. Those who have had some exposure to or a natural flair for business development initiatives will find plenty of opportunity to use and improve those skills.

We are ideally looking to hire this position in London but welcome applications from those closer to other EIP offices.
