We are representing a boutique full-service Intellectual Property law firm that covers all areas of intellectual property and across a wide range of technologies, including mechanical engineering, electronics, software, telecommunications, physics and biotechnology.

Being a smaller firm, they can offer a great degree of flexibility for their attorneys. Home-working arrangements are on offer, and they would look further afield for the right individual (perhaps you may want to be nearly all remote-working).

The Role:

They currently have more work than they can handle and so there is a need to hire a new member into the team. You are also being given the opportunity to work on these new workloads with the potential to make more gains!

They are hiring for a patent attorney with a technical background in electronics, preferably hi-tech matters. You can have a physics-based background or electrical engineering, they are open to ideas! There is contentious work here if the person wants it.

In terms of experience you will ideally be a qualified patent attorney (either UK and/or European). They would also happily consider someone who is part-qualified, close to becoming qualified. Overall, they expect the person to come into the firm and hit the ground running.
