We are hiring for a leading intellectual property firm that has offices in London and Europe. They are consistently recognised by the leading UK legal directories – Chambers, Legal 500 and Managing Intellectual Property – as a ‘go-to’ firm, which is a testament to the quality of their advice and relationships with their Clients.

The partners of the firm are looking for a qualified Patent Attorney with a background in Chemistry or Pharma to join their leading Chemistry & Life Sciences Practice Group (in the London office). You will be involved in drafting and prosecution of UK and European patent applications for a range of domestic and international companies, including clients who specialise in household consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, giving you a broad spectrum of interesting work. You will gain experience in a full range of direct client work, including oppositions before the EPO and contentious matters, while offering your clients strategic IP advice.

We need an individual who has previous prosecution experience and ideally someone who is newly qualified (with some flexibility on when they qualified).
