What will you be doing?
Our three day, fully paid summer insight programme will commence in July 2023 (date TBC) and will take place in our central London office. We also offer generous support towards travel and accommodations costs.
We will provide you with seminars, case studies, work shadowing and practical exercises. You will also get to experience our social side, through meeting and getting to know a variety of people across the firm. We offer all programme participants a guaranteed first stage trainee patent attorney interview, which will take place on the final day of the programme or soon after.
What are we looking for?
In order to enter the patent profession, it is a key requirement to have a STEM degree. Please see our range of commonly accepted degrees. Please note that this isn’t an exhaustive list.
Preference is given to candidates who are looking to begin a full-time graduate role in autumn 2024, and we welcome applications from individuals who have undertaken further study, including PhDs.
You will be working towards, or have obtained, an excellent first degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) complemented by strong A Levels (typically 3 at grade A or equivalent) and a passion for science and technology. With an excellent command of both written and spoken English and a meticulous eye for detail, you enjoy analysing and conceptualising complex matters, with an enthusiasm and aptitude for problem solving.
