Biotechnology Patent Attorney – Qualified/Part-Qualified

London or Cambridge

£60,000 – £80,000 + benefits + remote working options.

The Person

You are a UK/European Qualified or Part-Qualified Patent Attorney with experience of handling a range of Biotechnology related subject matter. You should possess a Biochemistry background (or related degree discipline), and relish working for a broad range of clients to produce high quality work.

You should be adept at advising clients about their respective IP strategies, have good written and oral communication skills, enjoy working collaboratively in a team, and be able to organise your workload effectively.

The Role

You will be joining one of the largest concentrations of biotech patents expertise in Europe, representing clients in all areas of biotechnology including antibodies and other biologics, diagnostics and personalised medicine, plant science, regenerative medicine, genetic engineering, bioinformatics, vaccines and immunology.

Clients include multinational companies, start-ups and academic institutions based in Europe, the United States and Asia. There is a good diet of contentious work to include oppositions, so the work on offer will be challenging and professionally rewarding in equal measure.
