We provide a full range of intellectual property (IP) services covering patents, trade marks, designs, copyright and commercial IP advice in the UK, Europe and worldwide. We use our technical and legal skills, and many years of experience, to identify and protect IP assets and to uncover and eliminate the risks posed by other people’s IP rights.
The role
We are seeking a dynamic, ambitious and outgoing trade mark attorney or solicitor to work in our Manchester office. The ideal candidate will have a track record of business development activities and experience in contentious and non-contentious IP matters. You will work as part of a rapidly-growing team of specialist trade mark attorneys and solicitors across the firm, working closely with our partner offices. We will provide a diverse mix of work, clients and opportunities from a wide range of industries from cryptocurrency to retail and fashion. There will be opportunities for international travel for the right candidate as well as the chance to work on leading litigation cases in the High Court.
About you
- 3 to 7 years’ PQE
- Active in marketing and business development
- Self-motivated and ambitious
- A working knowledge of related areas such as designs, copyright law, patents and competition law
