We are seeking a final-year undergraduate with a predicted good degree result, or a recent graduate or post-graduate with a minimum 2.1 degree, in physics, electrical engineering, electronics, or related discipline to train to become a patent attorney.  In addition to a strong academic background you will need good interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and excellent attention to detail.

As a trainee patent attorney you will be given full training and support in order to become qualified as a Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney. This comprises mentoring and supervision by the partners, in-house tutorials, external lectures and attending the Queen Mary Certificate Course in Intellectual Property Law.
